Jim DeVries, an excellent font maker, has pointed out some glaring flaws in my previous versions. Here, I have corrected many path problems, added some kerning pairs, adjusted the overall font so that it all looks like it came from the same place. The letter 'S' in particular was adjusted to look right. Inconsistencies with stroke weights have been, I hope, eliminated in the upper-case letterset.

Cleaned up some of the bitmaps and created a new apple character.
This is an excellent good quasi-sans-serif font based upon the font used in the New Yorker. It looks a lot like something you would find in the '20s and '30s, with a unique combination of closing and opening strokes. It has what would be considered a full character set and uses small capital letters instead of lowercase letters. I am currently in the process of designing the new lowercase letters. I must make a correction here from my earlier docs and descriptions. I did not DERIVE the font FoxTrot from the font UpperWestSide as in electronicaly altering, copying, or otherwise infringing on the original authors copyright. That font was my inspiration and model. I did not derive any character directly or make any alterations to that font.
If you like it, send a contribution. I would prefer something on the order of $25 U.S. You may send less, but not less than $15 (if you’re THAT desperate save the money until my next shareware font!)
Its in a self-extracting archive by Compact Pro (a wonderful and FAST shareware program), it contains either the Type 1, Type 3 , and Truetype versions of the font as the .AFM files. I created it after playing around with Fontographer, an excellent program from those people at Altsys. Truetype, Type 1, and Type 3 versions were generated from the original Fontographer file by Metamorphisis Pro, another Altsys program. (Its easier for me to do it that way...)
I wanna know if there is a real market for my shareware fonts. Foreign fonts as well as dingbat fonts included. (have any ideas?) Send mail to let me know...

I have revised the discription and the docs in order to avoid any possible misconceptions and copyright infringments between the font UpperWestSide and my font, FoxTrot.
(Thanks to Jim DeVries for pointing a similar spot out to me) Also I have gotten rid of some bothersome characters, added some more kerning pairs (several hundred), and redone the colon, comma, bullet, period, and the semi-colon.
